HRO World as SaaS.com's Premier Event in the HRO Space BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - April 3, 2008 - WebApps, Inc. a.k.a. SaaS.com, a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) with a major push in Workforce Management Solutions, will be exhibiting at the 2008 HRO World Conference, a human resources outsourcing (HRO) industry event. The conference focuses around delivering tools and knowledge needed to address the planning, implementation and management challenges involved in outsourcing HR functions. Part of the 6th Annual NY HR Week, the event will take place in New York City on April 16-17. SaaS.com will occupy booth number 325, and will be contributing as the Exhibitor Lounge Sponsor for the event. As a new member of the Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA), the primary association linked to the event, HRO World will act as SaaS.com's debut into the HRO space. Delivering proven advice on the strategic and operational issues associated with outsourcing and retaining HR functions, the conference will present the opportunity to introduce SaaS to the HRO space. "We chose to participate in HRO World as the Exhibitor Lounge Sponsor to showcase the SaaS model and suite of online workforce management tools, as well as exchange information with industry peers," stated Alexandra Quintero, Business Development Manager for SaaS.com. "Being an organization that aims to educate the HRO space on this valuable method of software delivery, we also see the importance in learning as much as possible about the industry itself." Due to the paper intensive and repetitive nature of work involved within the industry, there has been a recent shift of focus on technology to remedy those hassles. As customer companies recognize they are not in the business of building and managing the infrastructure necessary to support systems that collect, process and store business information, more of them are adopting a SaaS model. Since the model revolves around deploying one instance of the software to many clients on a one-to-many or multi-client basis, HROs and customer companies dodge the cumbersome software installation and maintenance process. Among numerous levels where utilizing SaaS can prove beneficial to the HRO space, a SaaS alternative eases the task of keeping up with ever-changing state and federal regulations. The one-to-many deployment ensures compliance with these regulations because the moment software updates are required, they quickly become available to all clients. The ability to deliver best practices in a more efficient manner allows for a faster turnaround time than on-premise solutions to react to benefits, labor laws, recruitment, etc. Looking beyond traditional on-premise options, SaaS requires few if any technical resources to maintain and support the software. Rather than a company purchasing a perpetual license to an application, the rights to access an application via the Internet can be bought. This, in turn, eliminates the need to maintain servers, apply patches, implement software updates, or troubleshoot networks, as those responsibilities do not exist at the company level. About SaaS.com - Formed in 2001, SaaS.com helps companies deliver both internal and consumer-facing applications as a service that are more intuitive, easier to deploy, and offer lower total cost of ownership. Two distinct business lines include a pre-existing set of Human Resource centric applications that are offered under a private-label model and a pure multi-application, multi-tenant delivery platform that can be coupled with industry-specific business logic and proprietary data to be delivered as a complete SaaS solution - - www.SaaS.com. |
